🚫 Banned Items

To keep the game balanced, some items are banned: you can't use them. Most come from HBM (too destructive) or are vanilla items replaced by the server's gear.

⚠️ Banned ≠ locked. Weapons locked by level (grenades, artillery…) unlock as you gain levels. The banned items below, however, are never usable.

☢️ Heavy explosives (banned)

Anything that can flatten a base is banned: missiles, warheads, nukes, mines, C4…

  • Charges & detonators: C4, C4/Miner/Dynamite/Semtex Charge, Det N2/Bale/Nuke, Det Cord, Det Miner
  • Mines: Naval, Fat, Shrapnel
  • Others: Dynamite, Semtex, TNT NTM, Bomb Multi, Fissure Bomb, Therm Exo/Endo, Float Bomb, Flame War

💣 Nuclear & exotic grenades (banned)

Nuclear Grenade, Solinium, ZOMG, Black Hole, Nuke, Schrabidium, Pulse.

("Normal" grenades — frag, plasma, gas… — are not banned: they unlock by level.)

⚔️ Weapons & armor that are too strong (banned)

  • OP swords: Desh, Cobalt (+ decorated), Starmetal, CMB, Schrabidium, Meteorite (all variants: seared, reforged, hardened, alloyed, machined, treated, etched, bred, irradiated, fused, baleful)
  • HBM armor/gear: Jetpacks (Fly, Break, Vector, Boost), Servo Set (+ Desh), Robes (helmet/chestplate/leggings/boots), Zirconium Leggings, Ballistic Gauntlet, Shackles
  • OP tools: Schrabidium Hammer, Chopper, Wrench Flipped, Shimmer Edge, Card QOS

🧪 Overpowered consumables (banned)

  • Healing/hearts: Heart Piece/Container/Booster/Fab, Serum, Bandaid, Morning Glory, Syringe Awesome, Med-X
  • Drinks/buffs: Bathwater (+Mk2), all the bottles (Rad, Sparkle, Quantum, Cherry, Nuka, Korl, Fritz, Sunset…), cans (Smart, Creature, Redbomb, Mr Sugar, Overcharge, Luna, Bepis…), Vodka, Scrumpy, WD-40, Coffee/Radium, Chocolate Milk…
  • Misc: Schrabidium Cape, Black Diamond, Balefire Scrambled/and Ham

🎮 Rebalanced vanilla items (banned)

  • Golden Apple (normal & enchanted), Ender Pearl, Brewing Stand, Enchanting Table, Anvil, Ender Chest
  • Vanilla armor: Iron, Chainmail, Gold, Diamond (all pieces)
  • Vanilla swords: Iron, Diamond

(On OpenWar, we use MWC/HBM military gear rather than vanilla weaponry.)
